The Foldaway spray booth system has been developed and patented by our company and incorporates facilities which remove the necessity for booth cleaning ensuring almost 100% powder use. Each enclosure is manufactured from flexible material and dedicated to a specific colour.

Spraying takes place within the enclosure as in a conventional booth but the dynamics of the fold-away booth ensure that the powder overspray falls to low level and is collected for re-use. The reverse jet cleaning system automatically cleans the filter during use. The extracted clean air is directed back into the workshop negating the need for a permanent ductwork system to atmosphere.

When spraying is complete the enclosure is zipped up and folded back on to the filter enabling the contaminated sections to be completely removed from the extractor and stored ready for re-use when that colour is needed again. Another enclosure and filter pack is then fitted to the extraction point, taking only a few minutes and the unit is ready to use

The system is compatible with manual and automatic powder applications and can be used as a batch booth and on a conveyorised line.

The fold-away booth is ideal when short runs of different colours are required.
